Kathy’s career began over forty years ago with South Central Bell.  She was one of three people selected nationwide to start the AT&T National Sales School in Denver.  Following that assignment, she became the first woman in South Central Bell to manage an entire sales district with hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue and over 125 employees.  

 

Next, she received a job offer from MCI to head up the National Account organization in Tennessee and Kentucky.  Again, she and her National Account Division exceeded revenue quotas year after year, receiving many top honors. After successfully climbing the corporate ladder at Bell, AT&T, and MCI, she took a sabbatical to determine what she wanted to accomplish over the next twenty years of her career.  

 

While on sabbatical, she received a call from one of her former clients, Angie Pelosi.  In 1997, Angie had started AP Telecommunications. It had grown to a point that Angie needed a project manager to work with her.  After numerous discussions between the two ladies, Angie offered Kathy a full partnership in the company. AP Telecommunications became Convergent Technologies Consulting, LLC in August of 2001.

 

Although Angie has retired, Kathy continues to grow and expand the business.  She has surrounded herself with very talented employees who are continuing to uphold the high qualities of CTC that she and Angie have established.

 

In her spare time Kathy enjoys spending with her family which includes her husband, son, daughter-in-law, two precious granddaughters, ages 2 and 3, her granddog, and her sister.  She also enjoys reading and spending time at the beach.

Due to her communication skills and business development experience, Olivia began her career in IT and Technical Staffing with one of the largest firms in the U.S. In this role, she was responsible for gathering requirements from clients, developing in-depth understanding of client needs, conducting technical interviews on their behalf, and providing qualified professionals for their teams. She managed her clients interview process, including briefing and debriefing both the client and the candidate to ensure successful outcomes. In that role she was introduced to many technology teams and industry trends all over the greater Nashville area.  

 

As Kathy expanded CTC, Olivia joined the team in a project management and operations capacity. She has incorporated her previous business acumen to her role as a Project Manager for Convergent Technology’s clients to help execute many successful projects. Budgeting, equipment procurement, vendor selection, low voltage engineering, and structured cabling installation management are just a few of the things she is doing for our current clients. She takes pride and enjoys partnering with new teams to help solve their technology objectives. When she is not on a job site or building budgets, she enjoys heading south anywhere with a view of the ocean and a good sunset. However, when that isn’t an option loves being surrounded by family and friends.

David W. Kindrick, RCDD has over forty years of diverse experience in the communications industry. Work experience includes telephone company switching, carrier, fiber, cellular and power plant equipment along with managing the communications for a regional healthcare facility. 

 

David has been the Project Manager and successfully managed budgets in over a hundred healthcare construction projects throughout the US. These projects have been with some of the largest healthcare systems in the country and include major and minor renovations; behavioral health facilities; medical office buildings; free-standing emergency departments; and replacement hospitals.  

 

Prior to joining Convergent Technologies Consulting, LLC, David was with a Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering firm and started the Technology Project Management division. He built it into a successful enterprise that continues today. David attained the prestigious Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) status from BICSI in 2009.

Michelle brings more than 25 years of experience as a Project Manager/Medical Equipment Planner.   She began her career with Gene Burton and Associates, which was the largest Equipment Planning firm in the US.  She served many roles during her tenure from Project Assistant, Database Administrator, Project Assistant Manager, and Project Manager/Medical Equipment Planner.  Michelle was also involved in developing the Medical Equipment Planning Division for Turner Construction.

 

Her primary focus is client development, and managing projects from the design phase through installation.  She is also responsible for conducting existing equipment inventories, budgeting, meeting with end-users to determine equipment needs, issuing equipment specification books to the design team, equipment procurement & installation, and coordination with all team members to ensure a successful project. 

 

Michelle has been involved in more than 200 projects involving major and minor renovations; behavioral health facilities; urgent care clinics, medical office buildings; greenfield and replacement hospitals in the United States, Aruba, St Croix, and Puerto Rico.

 

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling anywhere there’s a beach, but especially the Caribbean; retail therapy; and spending with her family and friends.
